I’ve been here before, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they recently renovated the restaurant! The new interior feels much warmer, more modern, and inviting—definitely a nice upgrade. The food was great as always. We especially loved the pig trotter soup—the broth was rich and comforting, and the meat was incredibly tender. The whole fish was fresh and flavorful, and the stir-fried vegetables were simple but delicious. Everything went perfectly with rice. Great food, generous portions, and a beautiful new atmosphere. Definitely a great spot for authentic Chinese food and group dinners. I’ll be back again!

Good vibes for a date night or a gathering with friends or family! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We ordered a whole fish, mapo tofu, noodles, pork soup (lot of collagen!), some veggies, and rice — everything was great. The table next to us ordered the truffle fried rice, and it smelled amazing. Definitely worth trying that next time!

Good Sichuan spot in midtown! We got some classics like cucumber salad, mapo tofu and green peppercorn chicken which I loved. I also really liked the fried noodles with chicken. The truffle fried rice was very truffle heavy so if you’re a fan of that you’ll love it. Service was great and our dishes came quick and served hot. Overall it has all the classics and a good variety.

Went for dinner with family. The flavors were quite bold and spicy and probably the most fragrant and best Dan Dan Noodles I've had. Service was a little slow to get our water but the atmosphere and decor were quiet and cozy. Good value for the portions, too.

The food here is exceptional — full of flavour, well cooked, and genuinely memorable. It’s the main reason I’d consider returning. Unfortunately, the service seriously let the experience down. The waitstaff were rude, abrupt, and unwelcoming, with little sense of basic hospitality. There was no warmth, no courtesy, and interactions felt dismissive rather than attentive. It’s disappointing because great food deserves service to match. If management addressed customer service and staff manners, this place could easily be outstanding. As it stands, the food is the saving grace but the poor service overshadows what should have been a great dining experience.
